350 SF Outreach Working Group Meeting

The Outreach/Education Committee's goal is to broaden the base of the movement. Our plans include developing educational and informational materials aimed at people who may not already know much about Global Warming; collaborating on green film festivals on Global Warming and fostering better communication between organizations with similar goals through on-line event calendars. We need people with enthusiasm and hopefully also some writing, graphic arts and/or computing skills.

Unfortunately, I missed this event. I am very interested in creating a parent activist group that creates child-friendly events that focus on divestment and letter writing. Parents don’t have much time, but have an especially strong investment in creating a habitable future; perhaps by creating events that include children, we could reach this demographic.
