Gasland Part 2 Friday 10/11

Sensible Cinema sponsored by the UU-UNO and Green Committee in collaboration with 350SF presents Gasland: Part II

This is Josh Fox’s awaited sequel to Gasland and fires us up over Hydraulic Fracturing in this country.  It takes us to the oil fields of several U.S. towns and includes some international footage.

We visit the offices of politicians and the halls of Congress to give a glimpse of the hardball nature of the corruption involved.  He is quoted as saying:

"I felt like I could see it:  a horizontal well bore, drilled down into the earth, snaking underneath the Congress, shooting money up

through the chamber at such high pressure that it blew the top off our democracy.”

This is a Free Screening with popcorn and refreshments offered. Donations are always appreciated. See you there!
