#Global Frackdown

#Global Frackdown 2014

Come to the 3rd Annual Global Frackdown, organized by Food & Water Watch with the support of 350 Bay Area and many other organizations.

It's been an exciting month - on September 21st, over 400,000 people gathered in New York to fight climate change, and our own local event in Northern California drew thousands to Lake Merritt. It was the largest climate march in history.

Now, we're carrying that momentum forward with the Global Frackdown. On October 11, people all over the world will be calling for an end to fracking and the dangers it poses to our environment, health, and communities. Can you join us?
Here in Oakland, we'll be having a day of action at Lake Merritt, where our community can come together to learn about fracking and our campaigns to ban it in California. We'll be sending messages to Jerry Brown, telling him that you can't be a climate leader if you support fracking. There will be music, food, and an art station where you can make your own anti-fracking t-shirt! Join us at Eastshore Park for an afternoon of fun and action!
