Letter Writers Unite 3/23

letters_to_trump_-_ruby_8.jpgIf you are feeling concerned & activated by recent news & events related to climate change & the new administration, come get your voice heard with the power of your pen. A letter writing committee has formed to band together to write to legislators, editors, & business leaders about current issues from fossil fuel pipelines to clean energy, public land protection, & food justice.

This is our fourth meeting. Newcomers are always welcome. Form letters and supplies provided. Refreshments and light snacks will be provided. Please bring your pen & a friend!

South Branch Library is accessible via BART (Ashby Berkeley station), bike, and carpooling is encouraged.

Topics for this week: Trump's new budget proposal and a break out group for letters to the editor.
