Let’s keep calling. I did about an hour ago and it took about 5 minutes to get through to a staff person. I talked about the spread of cancer-causing fracking fluids and wastewater across the Colorado landscape and through their towns and school yards this time. Just one more “externality” to deal with; there are so many.

I just called and waited a minute or so. Any creative ideas out there to reinvigorate this campaign. ?

Just called, only took a couple minutes to get through. Told the staff to tell Governor Brown in no way is fracking a “fabulous economic opportunity” when you look at the true cost to the community.
Please make your call now!

Called at 10:30 am, got through, and then was on hold for 6 minutes. Told the staff person Governor Brown is working with oil interests instead of the people. You only need to look to the flooding in CO to see what fracking can do to our water here.

Called at 9:35am and it took over 4 minutes to get through after it started ringing. Called for Governor to veto SB 4 and declare an immediate moratorium on fracking and acidization. We are having an impact. Let’s keep doing this, even on other days besides Mondays.

At 1:20pm today it took a minute and a half after the phone rang to the staff person for someone to pick-up – Said notification and transparency will not help us with the CO2 and methane pollution. She said she would pass it on.

Called (on hold for 5 min), mentioned regulating one of the largest carbon bombs in the Hemisphere is like trying to make a nuclear bomb safe: we just can’t let it go off. Also, just asking him to do what the Gov of NY did: moratorium on Fracking.

I called-wait time 2 mins.—hey, let’s get it up to 5 mins. at least today. Told him to ban or place a moritorium on fracking or on experimenting with the even worse technique, acidizing and to do it now. Talked about AB 32 being thrown under the fracking train.

I called in and spoke with a representative asking that the Governor ban fracking as part of his climate change initiative. Although he said that he would let the Governor know about my request I don’t know how my request got recorded because he didn’t ask for my name or where I resided.

Just called Gov. Brown’s office; left a message with an aide. He was reasonably – but I was not. told him it was outrageous that the governor is considering fracking as a solution to our energy problems; that I have 2 wonderful grandchilren under the age of 3 and I want California to be safe for them as it it relatively safe for me. Thank you Lora Jo Foo putting out the call. Conny Ford

I just called, as I did last Monday and a few other times, and as I will all Mondays until a Ban or Moratorium happens. I passed out slips of paper to many protesters at the Aug 3rd Chevron Protest with the info and encouraging them to do what New York did and everyone said they will do it. Let’s see how Green Brown is!!

9:55 am- just called the Governor’s office and spoke with a representative. I thanked Governor Brown for his leadership and outspoken support for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in California and his work to stave off climate catastrophe. I said he should ban fracking in California or at least impose a moratorium, since no amount of regulations will impact the huge increase in greenhouse gas emissions that will result from the expansion of fracking in California.
