Non-Violent Civil Disobedience Training in San Jose 2/2

HOSTED BY 350 Silicon Valley RSVP HERE

Please join over 75,000 people nationwide in resistance to the Keystone XL Pipeline. In order to take part in the nonviolent civil disobedience in San José, we must attend a mandatory training. This may be the last training offered before the Sit In!  (More info on the Sit In below.)

Please also consider joining our No Tar Sands meeting on Sunday 1/19, to plan for the Sit In. Details and sign-up here

More information:

One of the main climate fights of 2014 will be the expected culmination of our two-year struggle to stop the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline: Several signs point to the State Department releasing its final environmental report on the pipeline by March. The climate movement is gearing up for a fight, should the State Department continue to downplay the climate impact of the pipeline.

We are partnering with CREDO and Rainforest Action Network to organize a mass civil disobedience action shortly after the State Department publishes its report. Over 75,000 people nationwide have pledged to resist in over 100 US cities, including a local one right here in San Jose.
