Bay Area Transportation Campaign Meeting, June 4

Solar EV Charger

Join us at our next Transportation Campaign meeting in the East Bay. We're going to talk about how to plan for growth in the Bay Area without fossil-fueled transportation.

  • Joel Ramos, Regional Planning Director of TransForm, a leading land use/transportation planning organization, will talk about the group's work for equitable, efficient, environmentally friendly transportation.
  • Jonathon Kass (aide to BART director Nick Josefowitz) will give a brief review of BART's effort to develop higher density housing on their properties adjoining BART stations.

We'll talk about our recent experiences with MTC. And we will strategize how to best move beyond MTC's goal of 40% reduction in GHGs from transportation in the Bay Area by 2040.  We have to do better!
